ASHRAM International provided a grant of Rs941,169 in Association for Voluntary Action and Services (AVAS), Bangalore India.

AVAS further earned Rs282,697 – upto 30th Septemeber 2002, by way of interest on the Collateral Security Deposit of Rs920,000 – placed with HUDCO, who have extended loans amounting to Rs2,390,000.

As at 31st December 2002, all quarterly instalments have been paid by the beneficiaries, quite a record for a fruitful association of ASHRAM, AVAS and 2 Communities.
